Don't let this sophisticated painting that my Mom made for me when I was a baby fool you - this painting hangs on my door, but it does not give you a clue to the sickening sweet, purple, pink and green girly room that you are about to encounter!

My name is Piper and I love my new room. If you are older than 5, you might get a little nauseous feeling when you look at my room - as I told my Mom, there is so much to look at I almost don't know where to look first! For a 4 year old girl, it is just right!

Here are my beautiful baby shoes my Mom's friend Dina gave me when I was born. They hang on my great-grandmother's 4 poster bed.

I helped my Mom glue this flower to the bed skirt she and my Dad had when they got married.

Here are a few of the zillion of flowers that decorate my window shades.

Here is my pink Christmas tree. We thought it made a great nightlight for my new room. Why should Christmas trees only be for Christmas when they are so much fun all year long! I added the fairy my Grammers gave me for Christmas.

This is what I painted on the wall when Mom was out of the room. I painted two butterflies - one for me and one for my future baby sister - Zoe. Mom was really surprised when she saw my artwork, but loved it so much she couldn't paint over it! I also wrote my name backwards - pretty impressive for a preschooler.

Here is what my Mom painted - she painted a P for Piper above my windows.

I also have stripes, dots, dragonflies and butterflies painted on my wall. And just when the walls got a little boring - we glued on some rhinestones! I told Mom I wanted more and more and more rhinestones - but she seemed to think we had enough.
On the left side, you can also see a poster my parents tore off a pole they saw in Salamanca, Spain - before I was born. Over my bed there is a picture of a girl reading a book that looks just like me. I am so happy with my new room, it just makes me want to dance!
