Why? This is the question that has kept me from blogging - why do this? What is the real purpose? Is it vain? Who really cares about these little mundane things? What could be so inspiring about my life that I should put it into cyberspace?
The answer to this question came to me last night when I read some friend's blogs - it is these tiny mundane things that make up the beauty of my life. Some day I will forget how much I love walking Fletch to school, how much joy I get out of watching the kids bike and ride scooters and struggle to read a beginner reader book or sitting under the pergola talking with Chris and I know that in a couple of years Piper will not be caught dead dancing around in a tutu - and these are the things that I really treasure in my life right now. Pearl Bailey said, "People see God everyday, they just don't recognize Him." I hope this blog will help me see God's love in my husband, in my children and in the many blessings I have!
