We just finished VBS... who realized what a gift VBS was? A wonderful time for the kids and a wonderful time for me - Chris was out of town so it was a great diversion! A friend whose kids did not attend said, "boy did we miss out" and I have to agree! Wish VBS was all summer!
And I loved to hear them talk about what they learned.
Fletcher said he became a 2nd Christian. He accepted Jesus into his heart last year - and told me he has decided to make it an annual thing. Coming from the Bible belt where teens become Christians every years at church camp - it made since to me. But even more, I am excited to see him falling in love with Jesus.
Fletch said, "Guess who my best friend is?" I went down the usual list, "Griffin, Hayden, Emma..." "Nope, my best friends are Jesus and God - and then you Mommy." Give this kid some ice cream!!!
Piper got some of it - but is still learning. She said, "Jesus lives in my heart - but then at night He comes out and flies around."

We leave for Dallas in the morning. Hope we can handle the HEAT! UGH! I'll call you when we get back and maybe we can plan to hang out...
What Piper said is the most adorable thing I have ever heard! It made me laugh...she is so CUTE!!!
