Hmmm - first blog - not sure how I feel about this whole thing, but my friends Keitha and Jen rave about how wonderful it is. Could I really post personal things on the web for anyone to see - that seems so "vulnerable". Well - here goes. I'll start by sharing Thanksgiving pictures of my darling family. And pictures of the all important first ski lesson. Fletcher and Griffin shared this big event with several other pint sized friends when we all stayed in Nederland. What - you have never heard of Nederland? It is only the host of the "Frozen Dead Guy Festival". Yes, there is a man who wanted to be frozen after he died and is in a Tuff Shed in Nederland. Every month thousands of dollars of dried ice are poured into the shed to keep him in his frozen state. And every March the whole town comes out to celebrate and have frozen dead guy casket races. Who could turn down a weekend in a town like that!? Thanks to Dina and Soren for inviting us to this lovely hippie town - when else have I ever slept with a Janis Joplin poster over my bed?
