Blog, Blog, Blog - blah, blah, blah

Cabin, sweet Cabin...

Do you ever get writer's block? I have started about 5 different blog drafts and have not been able to finish them. I want to write about the economy, budgeting, mom stuff, finishing my James Bible study, simplicity, coffee, helpful husbands and on and on - but for some reason my thoughts are not connecting with my writing.

So instead of trying to go deep - I will just go easy and fun and show you what a great week we had in Buena Vista with my Mom. The aspens were gold, the cabin was cozy, the fish were very smart (too smart!), we ate s'mores every night and got to feed chipmunks and DEER out of our hands. We are always thankful to be able to spend time in the Magic Cabin!

We left right after dance class - where my Mom was awed by Piper's "amazing talent" - and her stripped tights.

Job #1 - put food out for deer and chipmunks - but hopefully the only bear we will see is the wooden one on the front porch.

Griffin feeds a chipmunk from his hand at the ghost town, St. Elmo's. Piper wanted Elmo to show up, so we had to explain it was a different Elmo.

Boys are ready for adventure

Since the fish aren't biting, we might as well go explore!

Still trying to catch fish... Chris told me fish in Colorado have a higher IQ then most fish.

The deluxe tree house.

Every tree house needs a hammock... and a couple of cute kids.

Ahhh....love, love, LOVE the cabin! Looks like a blast (as always)--so glad you all had fun! The hammock is a great touch to the tree house too!
